About Sons and Daughters In Touch - Gold Star Children from the Vietnam War

Sons and Daughters In Touch was formed in 1989 as the nation's first non-profit dedicated to serving Gold Star Children. Today, the organization is fulfilling its mission, "To locate, unite and support the Gold Star Children who lost their fathers in the Vietnam War." To accomplish this, SDIT collaborates with other non-profit organizations serving Gold Star Families community; advocates for certain legislation beneficial to Gold Star families; builds bridges among older and younger Gold Star families; and works to preserve the 100-year history and heritage of America's Gold Star tradition.
