About Sorghum United Foundation

Sorghum United Foundation is a global nonprofit organization committed to empowering communities through sustainable sorghum development. Our mission is to elevate the visibility, value, and viability of sorghum by connecting smallholder farmers, researchers, policy makers, and industry leaders across the agricultural value chain. We believe sorghum is more than a crop. It's a climate-resilient, nutrition-rich solution for food security, economic development, and environmental sustainability. Our vision is a world where sorghum plays a central role in climate-smart agriculture, economic opportunity, and social equity. From supporting youth-driven agri-innovation to advancing global policy frameworks, we are cultivating a new generation of agricultural leadership rooted in inclusion, resilience, and impact. Our work spans education, research, advocacy, and grassroots mobilization across Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
