About The Owner: Holly Burt is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist with 12 years of experience in the areas of orthopedics and pelvic health treating patients pelvic pain, pre and post natal issues, and incontinence. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Columbia University and BS in Health & Exercise Science from Wake Forest University. Focusing on treating pelvic floor dysfunction and related issues in the pelvis, hip, and spine, her treatment involves assessment of movement patterns, ligament structure, current activity level, and pregnancy history. She was instructor of continuing education courses on Fibromyalgia to PTs, OTs, and PTAs. She believes in the overwhelming evidence on use of aerobic exercise and local muscle stabilization in treatment of FMS, Hypermobility Syndrome, and Ehler’s Danlos patients. Background in treating performing artists including figure skaters, ballet dancers, Irish dancers, and Broadway performers and was NASM certified personal trainer in Midtown Manhattan at New York Sports Club. Holly has a passion for medical missions overseas with recent trips to Honduras and Belize providing physical therapy in free clinics.
