Our concept reflects the cultural identity of the island, and while it is primarily influenced by Italian traditions, it also embraces flavors that represent a multiethnic and cosmopolitan essence. SOTTOZERO The Gelato Factory, established in 2006, has grown to become one of Malta's most beloved ice cream shops. Over the years, we have continuously invested in our brand, expanding into new product lines, while maintaining our focus on high-quality artisan craftsmanship. Our founder, born in Viserba, Italy, to an Italian father and Maltese mother, moved to Malta at the age of three. His mother's deep passion for cooking, shaped by the blend of Maltese and Romagna culinary traditions, inspired him to first pursue gastronomy and later, the art of ice cream making.
