South Chicago Packing offers bakery and restaurant shortenings for home chefs, a product of the meat industry. These include commercial shortenings and custom frying oils using animal fats and animal-vegetable fat blends, and oils for cooking, baking, and frying applications. They produce and supply vegetable and animal fat-based candle waxes,candle formulation or blended with petroleum or synthetic waxes, adhesives, crayons, leathers, oriented strand board, processing aids, box coatings, fire logs, lubricants, packaging solutions, PVC, and the oleochemical industry, including synthetic oils, personal care, cleaning agents and surfactants, animal nutrition milk replacement, pet food, and animal nutrition applications, deodorization, and hydrogenation, animal fat, and animal-vegetable blends to the animal feed industry.
