Southern Calvert Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church located in Lusby, Maryland. We are dedicated to vibrant worship, authentic fellowship, biblical preaching, practical and meaningful ministries, and engaging children’s activities. We believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God. The Bible teaches that God connects with people by offering them forgiveness of sin and reconciliation through Jesus’ sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection. Jesus said that the greatest commandment is that we love one another as Christ has loved us. That is how we as God’s people connect with one another. You are welcome at SCBC, and we want to connect with you! Our services are upbeat, casual dress, and everyone is welcome. Join us Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM for Sunday School and then at 10:45 AM for Worship Service which includes a mixture of traditional hymns and contemporary music. Come as you are and worship with us. Childcare is provided for children Pre-K and under during the Worship Service.
