About Southside Justice
Southside Justice is an independent, not-for-profit community legal centre offering free legal support to people on low incomes living in Melbourne’s inner-south and statewide for specialised programs. We exist to enhance access to justice for people and communities disproportionately affected by systemic and structural inequity. For over 50 years, we have played a unique role in advancing social justice, including championing the rights of sex workers and the LGBTIQA+ community. Our place-based model prioritises long-term collaboration with other social service organisations, ensuring those with the most need have access to free legal support.
