About Spare Consulting

Spare Consulting Sàrl is a specialist Swiss consultancy based in Lausanne, dedicated to digital and cloud transformation. We empower organizations to close the gap between IT, finance, and business stakeholders—helping you unlock maximum strategic and financial value from your cloud investments (public cloud, SaaS, data platforms, and AI). We help multinational and local companies: Translate business needs into cloud strategy: We align cloud architectures, governance, and operating models with organizational goals, fostering clarity and cohesion across teams. Elevate transparency and accountability through FinOps: Implementing FinOps principles, we ensure responsible cloud use by building cost visibility, unit economics tracking, forecasting, and anomaly detection. Govern with confidence: We help design frameworks that facilitate compliance, risk management, and chargeback/showback strategies that support informed decision-making and sustainable cloud use. Build enduring capability: Through hands‑on workshops, training, and organizational ramp-up, we help your teams internalize cloud cost management, governance, and collaboration best practices. Drive alignment and adoption: Our approach ensures cloud decision-making is connected to business outcomes, and that proper FinOps and Cloud Governance principles are adopted throughout the organization for long-term success. Spare Consulting goal is to align cloud consumption with business value—providing clarity, structure, and sustainability for your cloud journey.
