About Sparks Volleyball Academy

Sparks Volleyball Academy (SVA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) volleyball organization based in Douglas County, Colorado, dedicated to developing youth and amateur athletes into skilled, confident, high-character competitors. We serve boys and girls across Castle Rock, Parker, Elizabeth, Franktown, and the surrounding communities. At SVA, we combine high-level volleyball training with a strong emphasis on personal growth, leadership, and values. Our coaching philosophy centers around what we call the Team Captain Attributes — honesty, encouragement, respect, passion, hard work, and competitiveness. These qualities shape the way our athletes train, compete, and carry themselves on and off the court. We offer structured pathways for athletes of all skill levels — from players learning the fundamentals to advanced athletes preparing for college volleyball opportunities. Our coaching staff brings experience, integrity, and a deep commitment to athlete development, ensuring every player receives technical instruction, meaningful feedback, and a supportive team environment. As a nonprofit, our focus is simple: Build great players. Build great people. Build a great volleyball community. Whether an athlete’s goal is to compete at the highest club level, play in college, or simply grow in their love for the sport, Sparks Volleyball Academy provides a training experience rooted in excellence, character, and opportunity.
