About Spinal Cord Injury PEI

Our mission at Spinal Cord Injury PEI is to assist people with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities to help them achieve independence and self-reliance, and to promote full community awareness and participation. We are able to successfully do this by providing peer support, community advocacy, as well as providing resources to both our members and the community. It is important that during times of difficulty that we lean on other individuals for support. Here at SCI we feel that it is important to have someone who ‘gets it’. That is why we offer a connection to volunteers who have been there and can provide you with support and inclusion, as well as resources to help you during these difficult times.
