About Spiral Inc. | Spiral Europe FlexCo

Website of Spiral Europe FlexCo in Vienna, Austria: https://spiraleu.at/ Spiral is revolutionizing autonomous drone solutions for indoor environments, particularly in non-GPS conditions. While most drones rely on SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) for positioning—a complex and energy-intensive technology often unsuitable for indoor use—Spiral offers a more efficient alternative. Our system utilizes QR codes to simplify drone mapping and flight planning. Operators can easily place QR codes on walls and ceilings to define the drone’s flight path based on position and time. This creates a flexible, easily modifiable trail that remains visible to the human eye. By replacing SLAM with a cost-effective and user-friendly approach, Spiral reduces operational costs by up to 60%, making indoor drone integration more accessible than ever. Through simplicity and innovation, Spiral is shaping the future of autonomous indoor drone navigation.
