About Sport Dog Food

Sport Dog Food is a family-owned and -operated business created on a family farm located along the eastern shores of Long Island, New York. Family means everything to us and, like you, we know that dogs are people too. More than just pets, dogs are our friends, confidants, and ever-faithful companions. That’s why we gave our first dog a name that reflects how much he means to us – we named him Brother. Brother was an active dog who spent his days roaming the family farm. He was living the dream until one day he fell sick. Brother developed severe digestive issues that made it difficult for his body to absorb nutrients from his food and he became weaker and more lethargic by the day. That’s when we knew we had to do something. That’s how Sport Dog Food was born. Born from a Brother’s need, Sport Dog Food is a family company through and through. Every recipe we offer is made with premium-quality ingredients and designed to support digestive and immune health. Our formulas feature protein-rich ingredients including buffalo, chicken, and turkey to help active dogs like Brother build and maintain lean muscle mass. Where once our beloved Brother could barely make it from the house to the barn, his youthful energy returned, and he regained his vigor and vitality. Once again, he was the happy, healthy, and active dog we knew him to be. Brother’s amazing transformation inspired us to bring Sport Dog Food to market for all dogs like him who can benefit from quality nutrition optimized for active, sporting, and working breeds. Today, we proudly offer three lines of specially blended pea-free dog foods, supplements, and treats formulated to help active dogs reach their full potential. Our family has grown from the four dogs under our roof to the thoughts of dogs and dog owners who choose Sport Dog Food for a healthy and balanced nutritional diet.
