About Sport4Understanding

The organization's purpose is to use sports to develop contact and understanding between young people from different parts of the world. The philosophy is that activity, knowledge, and friendship help to build understanding and break down barriers. Through a mix of sports and activities, which requires cooperation, trust, and dialogue, combined with experience exchange and conflict understanding, the young people build new insights, understanding and friendships. Learnings through this organization will make them ambassadors for peaceful conflict resolution and openness to the views of others. We work with different Sports organisations to help them develop the youth work and understanding to break down barriers. Important partner for us is Aktiv Ungdom and Erasmus+ that support our work with funding through their youth exchange program. Our work contains workshops, reflections, Youth worker development and youth exchanges - all together with the sport that is common for the youths and brings them together. Our workshops are all interactive and desire collaboration and engagement for the participants.
