About STAIN Bengkalis

State Islamic College of Bengkalis (STAIN Bengkalis) has a rich history rooted in its original establishment as Tarbiyah Science College (STIT) in 1988, under the management of the Al-Kautsar Islamic Education Foundation (YPIA). Founded by Dr. Asy`ari Nur, a visionary who recognized the need for higher education in Bengkalis, STAIN Bengkalis has grown into a respected institution known for its commitment to Islamic and Malay values. Over the years, STAIN Bengkalis has undergone significant development, including its transition to state status in 2014, marking a milestone in its mission to provide quality education accessible to all. With a vision of excellence in the development of Islamic and Malay sciences, the college is dedicated to producing graduates who embody the values of independence, empathy, integrity, trust, and confidence—qualities encapsulated in its motto, "MELAYU." Today, STAIN Bengkalis continues to expand its influence, with a growing student body and a reputation for contributing to the community through educational and cultural initiatives. As we look towards the future, the college remains steadfast in its mission to create graduates who not only excel academically but also understand and live by Islamic and Malay cultural values, contributing to the broader development of educated human resources in the region.
