About Standard Insurance S.C

Standard Insurance S.C. is one of Ethiopia’s newest private insurance companies, established with the objective of contributing to the development and strengthening of the country’s insurance sector. The establishment of the Company was initiated by members of Awach Saving and Credit Cooperative Ltd, mainly composed of the Cooperative’s Board Members and Executive Management, who served as promoters. The majority of the shareholders are members of the Cooperative, reflecting a strong foundation of collective ownership and long-term commitment.
