About Standup for the Cure Lakeshore
Standup for the Cure is a Non-Profit Corporation specializing in Standup Paddling events and campaigns that raise money and awareness for early Breast Cancer detection, education, treatment, and research. Since 2012, Standup for the Cure has brought together the breast cancer and paddleboarding communities to raise funds and awareness while celebrating healthy, active living. Through community-centered events, SUFTC has raised over $1.5 million to support breast cancer screening, education, treatment, and research. Every dollar raised supports local beneficiaries Hackley Community Care and Van Andel Institute. Contributions to SUFTC help provide breast cancer research, screenings, patient support services, education, and treatment for uninsured and under-insured women in Michigan.
