About Stead Impact Ventures and Foundation

We partner with innovators to transform their visions into realities that bend the curve to improve health and wellbeing. The Stead Family has made giving back a priority throughout their lives. Jerre and Mary Joy Stead formed the Stead Foundation to partner with nonprofits poised to make societal impact and to date has granted more than $400 million to healthcare, education, faith-based organizations, and related causes. Stead Impact Ventures was founded in 2023 by Jerre Stead as an extension of this commitment with the mission to invest with responsibility and purpose in innovators whose ideas will positively change the course of health and wellbeing. Together, the Stead Foundation and Stead Impact Ventures create a perpetual relationship between impactful philanthropy and successive profitability. Stead Impact Ventures is led by Board Chair Jerre Stead, who has served as CEO of 10 public corporations including Clarivate, IHS Inc., IHS Markit, Ltd, Ingram Micro, Legent Corporation, and Square D.
