About SteadyMind Institute

The research is clear: educator burnout is at an all-time high. We’re on a mission to help change that. SteadyMind Institute provides professional development programs that help educators build resilience, regulate their nervous systems, and sustain their well-being in demanding school environments. Our flagship program, The Empowered Teacher, equips educators with practical tools grounded in yoga, breathwork, and awareness practices to help manage stress, improve focus, and show up with greater presence for their students and communities. The research also shows that yoga is a powerful antidote to job-related stress, showing a 25-35% burnout reduction in just 8-10 weeks of practice. Other benefits include: * Improved teacher health and well-being * Higher overall morale and improved school culture * Improved teacher retention rates and career longevity * Better student behavior * Improved academic results As an approved Continuing Professional Development (CPD) provider, participants earn 30 Continuing Professional Development Units (CPDUs) approved by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
