About Stichting Hartveilig Drenthe

De Stichting Hartveilig Drenthe is opgericht om reanimatiehulp direct in de buurt te realiseren. Een groep van circa 10 vrijwilligers die bij elkaar in de directe omgeving wonen of werken, voorzien van een Automatische Externe Defibrillator (AED), bieden hulp aan slachtoffers met acuut hartfalen, op aangeven van de meldkamer ambulancedienst, direct in hun eigen omgeving (binnen een straal van circa 500 meter). Hiermee worden AED apparaten actief gemaakt, en wordt er hulp geboden aan slachtoffers in afwachting van ambulancedienst (hulp binnen de noodzakelijke 6 min).
