About Stichting Kinderoncologie Nederland (SKION)
De Stichting Kinderoncologie Nederland (SKION) vormt een landelijk samenwerkingsverband waarin professionals binnen de kinderoncologie in Nederland nauw samenwerken. We werken dagelijks hard onze missie "het bevorderen van de kwaliteit van diagnostiek, behandeling en follow-up van kinderen en adolescenten met kanker". Dit doen we door landelijke richtlijnen vast te stellen en te evalueren. Daarnaast organiseren we jaarlijks de SKION-dagen. Een tweedaags congres waarop nieuwe ontwikkelingen worden gedeeld en bediscussieerd. Dit is ook het moment waarop we reflecteren op de (kwaliteit van de) kinderoncologische zorg in Nederland.
