About Stone Meets Clay Pottery

At Stone Meets Clay, we believe in the transformative power of creativity to build community. Founded in 2021 by Jackson Stone, our mission is to foster connection and combat the isolation of the modern world by bringing people together through art. From its origins as a passion project during the COVID-19 pandemic, SMC has become a key partner in building vibrant communities at select universities and with corporate teams. We provide a unique, unstructured environment where individuals can unwind, express themselves, and forge lasting relationships - all while creating a one-of-a-kind piece of art. We are more than just a pottery company; we are a community building organization with a "pottery problem." Our hands-on events and workshops offer a refreshing escape, allowing student groups and teams to connect in a meaningful and memorable way. We've seen firsthand how the simple act of working with clay can break down barriers and spark connection. Join us in our mission to inspire creativity, cultivate community, and create lasting memories, one pottery piece at a time.
