About Stonefort Group

Stonefort Group ranks as one of the largest and most successful insurance and reinsurance businesses operating in Luxembourg today. Comprising a direct insurer, Stonefort Insurance, and a reinsurer, Stonefort Reinsurance, the Group is ideally structured to offer a complete insurance and reinsurance for a wide range of risk exposures and business activities across the globe. In these turbulent economic and political times, the importance of a stable and financially strong insurance partner has never been more important. Based in Luxembourg, a centre of excellence for insurance and reinsurance, Stonefort Group has the credentials, experience and financial strength and security to be your trusted insurance partner of choice. Whilst historically Stonefort Group has focused on construction-related exposures where we have amassed particular expertise and proficiency, we are keen to leverage our considerable financial strength and underwriting capacity to broaden our underwriting portfolio to encompass other industries and enterprises across all lines and territories. Our underwriting philosophy and risk appetite places the effective management of risk at the heart of our risk selection process. Accordingly, we are happy to consider risks from a wide spectrum of businesses, small and medium enterprises right through to large corporates, where there is evidence of a robust approach to managing risk in place that is directly instrumental in avoiding losses and claims.
