About Storm Organic Plant Nutrition Inc.

Founded in 2022, Tignish-based Storm Organic Plant Nutrition is a small, family-run business focused on harnessing the nutrient power of foraged Atlantic seaweed to help indoor and outdoor gardeners get the most out of their gardens. For decades now, soil scientists have acknowledged that typical NPK fertilizers alone aren’t enough to keep garden soil, and the plants growing in that soil, healthy and productive. Just as humans need vitamins and minerals in our diet, garden soil needs micro-nutrients and biostimulants to keep the soil microbiome balanced and productive. Our vision is to harness a secret that coastal farmers have been using on their fields for centuries to help home gardeners put the power of seaweed’s minerals, micronutrients, and biostimulants to work keeping their gardens healthy and productive.
