About Studio 1820

Every home has a story. We help you tell yours. At Studio 1820, thoughtful design is more than aesthetics. It's about creating environments that enhance how you live, work and connect with those you love. We are a boutique interior design studio based in New York, led by award-winning, NCIDQ-certified designer Faten Baassiri. With over fifteen years of international experience, we blend global inspiration with modern sensibility to create interiors that are collected, soulful and deeply personal, founded on the belief that intentional design brings beauty into your every day. We believe the most meaningful spaces are more than flawless, they feel like home from the moment you step inside. That's why our approach is rooted in thoughtful listening and meticulous attention to detail. We take the time to understand you and how you live: your daily rhythms, what brings you joy and how your space needs to support your life. Every decision is intentional and purposeful, creating spaces that reflect who you are. Our experienced team works on projects ranging from intimate city apartments to expansive residential renovations and select commercial and hospitality spaces. Our process is collaborative and personal. We guide you from concept to completion with care and expertise, seamlessly managing every detail: space planning, renovation coordination, material and finish selections, furniture curation, procurement, and final styling. With decades of experience, we take pride in delivering timeless, sophisticated interiors that transcend trends and reflect your unique lifestyle. Every project is thoughtfully tailored to excel in both form and function, ensuring spaces that work effortlessly with your life, interiors that are as functional as they are beautiful, and unapologetically yours.
