About StudyGuru.co.uk

StudyGuru is a UK tutoring platform built by tutors who wanted a better way of doing things. We’ve been on the other side - dealing with high platform fees, slow payouts, clunky tools, and last-minute cancellations that leave tutors unpaid. So we built something better. What StudyGuru offers tutors • ~17% higher take-home pay than major platforms • Fast payouts — paid within days, not weeks • Protection against last-minute cancellations • A modern, all-in-one platform: HD video, interactive whiteboard, scheduling, messaging, and payments • Full flexibility - set your own rates and availability • No minimum hours. No signup fees. Ever. What parents and students get • DBS-checked, academically verified tutors • A free 15-minute intro session before committing • Simple booking, flexible scheduling, and transparent pricing • Clear post-lesson summaries so parents know exactly what was covered • Targeted practice questions to reinforce learning between sessions Parents trust us with their child’s education - and that’s a responsibility we take seriously. Every tutor on StudyGuru is verified, applications are carefully reviewed, and every feature is designed with safety and real learning outcomes in mind. StudyGuru supports families and tutors across the UK with high-quality, 1-to-1 online tutoring focused on trust, clarity, and real progress.
