Subbey jobs and careers

About Subbey

The founding story of Subbey is rooted in the determination of a passionate teacher, Shea McGee, who witnessed his administration and fellow educators grappling with the recurring challenge of getting teacher’s relief when they needed a day off. Schools like Shea’s rely on Teachers to text, email, and call Subs until they have one that wants the Job. Let’s not forget the value of a mental health day. Teachers need to be encouraged to take time for themselves but for a lot of Schools, it’s more of a headache to take off than Teachers may find worth it. Shea wasted no time in mobilizing a team of motivated app developers and seasoned business advisors. Together, they embarked on an ambitious journey to develop an app that could revolutionize how substitute teachers were recruited and managed. Subbey is now in the Apple App Store and on Google Play. Schools are starting to use it all over the country. This is just a sample of the testimonials Subbey receives almost daily: “I wanted the flexibility of subbing while doing grad school full time. When I was introduced to Subbey, the entire subbing game changed for me.” “Subbey has been a game changer for our transportation department. This app is user-friendly and allows drivers to view trip details. The app helps our drivers to view and accept posted job opportunities. Coordinating and communication is the key to our transportation success.” Subbey is in search of Schools! Interested in implementing Subbey at your school? Great! we are too.
