About Subsea Drive Corporation

Subsea Drive Corporation is an engineering company developing innovative technology to responsibly maximize the value of energy generation during the transition from significant reliance on hydrocarbon fuels to more reliance on renewables. In this continuously changing and competitive world our philosophy is to deliver engineering excellence by building on the best current oilfield drilling technologies and practices in meeting the challenge of providing environmentally responsible energy. Since deepwater oil resources have some of the highest economic value with some of lowest carbon emissions our transition strategy starts by decreasing the time to drill deepwater wells while increasing the well value improving the probability of attaining well objectives. This strategy continues by providing the highest capacity anchoring for floating wind turbines decreasing renewable energy capital costs. Both improvements are accomplished with the technology of the Subsea Drive riserless casing drilling system. The company was founded by experienced oilfield professionals and one seasoned corporate insurance and risk manager. Casing drilling in the subsea environment is the central technology in the development of the Subsea Drive and Subsea Anchoring Corporations business cases. Its application is for the deepening of the structural casing of offshore oil and gas wells and for the installation of subsea anchors. Both applications of casing drilling have significant impact in reducing the costs of both offshore wells and the provision of anchoring for floating structures. Our technology partners are Blade Energy Partners and Frontier Oil Tools. They are, along with Subsea Drive Corporation, based in Houston, Texas.
