CALCULATION OF DAMAGES Summit Forensic Accountants provide a broad range of litigation support, primarily with issues related to the quantification of economic damages for personal injury, professional negligence or breach of contract. For the purposes of Loss of Income and Loss of Support calculations, particularly in the case of self-employed individuals where earnings cannot be established through traditional means, Summit Forensic Accountants gain an in-depth understanding of the claimant’s business activities before and after the incident. This enables an accurate assessment of the past loss and a most reasonable projection for future earnings. SETTLEMENT OF MATRIMONIAL DISPUTES Matrimonial disputes often require the valuation of assets or the estate. BUSINESS VALUATIONS Summit Forensic Accountants calculate the value of the businesses based on Required Return on Investment, Discounted Cash Flow or Net Asset Value.
