About SUN IONIAN

SUN IONIAN is a multidisciplinary design and construction practice based in Kefalonia, operating across Kefalonia and Ithaca, Greece. Our team of architects, civil engineers, and interior designers delivers a fully integrated suite of services covering architecture, engineering, interiors, landscape design, and construction management. We specialise in residential and hospitality-led developments, with a strong focus on private villas, investment properties, and high-quality mixed-use projects. Our work is rooted in a deep understanding of the Ionian landscape, Greek planning legislation, and local construction practices, allowing us to realise the full potential of each site, particularly in sensitive coastal, hillside, and rural locations. Our design approach is analytical, contextual, and pragmatic, balancing architectural clarity with environmental, social, and economic sustainability. We design buildings that respond to climate, topography, and local character, while integrating contemporary living standards and long-term operational efficiency. With extensive experience in new-build developments, renovations, extensions, and upgrades, including projects on challenging or previously undeveloped land, we guide clients confidently through the complexities of Greek planning and construction. By coordinating architecture, engineering, legal processes, and construction under one umbrella, SUN IONIAN enables international clients to build in Greece securely, transparently, and remotely.
