In 2003, SunButter® partnered with the USDA to develop the first-ever sunflower seed spread. We created it as a nut-free alternative to serve in schools to safeguard the health of those with peanut allergies. Our work today is inspired by our start as product pioneers of the first and foremost delicious, nutritious nut-free spread. SunButter’s amazing taste, nutritional riches, and culinary versatility made it much more than a peanut butter substitute.
