Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service of Michigan, Inc. is headquartered and has several locations in the Detroit metropolitan area. Since 1959, Superior has grown to be the largest independent, locally-owned and operated emergency medical services provider in the greater Chicagoland area. The Superior companies employ more than 1600 individuals, including more than 1000 licensed EMS personnel, and operate a fleet of more than 200 ambulances.
