We make it easy for more people to make the transition to droplet-based approaches that will first change the way scientists do experiments and eventually change the way data is digitalized. We have first reference customers in the field of protein crystallography and are working towards expanding our reach into other relevant markets. Problem Traditional lab experiments in biotechnology, such as those conducted in well plates, are resource-intensive, costly, and inefficient. Droplet-based microfluidics offers a disruptive solution but faces barriers like unstable emulsions, inadequate surfactants, complex setups, and scarce workforces, leading to frequent failures. Solution SURFACtoBioTech provides an application-optimized droplet platform that automates and simplifies droplet-based microfluidics. This enables efficient, reliable, and sustainable experiments, reducing reagent use and costs while boosting data quality and quantity. We enable ultrahigh-throughput data generation, amenable to training AI bio-analytics. Business model SURFACtoBioTech generates revenue through three streams: automated instruments, chemically engineered surfactants, and AI-bioanalytic software, serving academic labs, clinical centers, and pharma companies globally.
