About Suyama Peterson Deguchi Architects

As architects we strive for timeless designs that transcend style and trends by addressing the specificities of each site, program and client. We believe that design should not begin with a preconceived idea or a style but should flow naturally from a thorough investigation and understanding of each project's unique challenges. This philosophy ensures that each design will suit the specific needs of each client. By determining the essence of each site and project we create timeless architecture of lasting value. As residents of the Pacific Northwest, we understand the importance of connecting clients with our spectacular surroundings. We bring together the site and the building, the materials and details to create enduring architecture that reveals elemental truths about nature, people and architecture.
