About SVS - Surrey Venture Studio

SVS is an innovation-driven programme designed to help early-stage entrepreneurs turn high-potential ideas into scalable, investable businesses. We provide a dynamic pre-incubation and accelerator experience that blends expert mentorship, hands-on workshops, and access to catalytic funding. Our six-month journey starts with an intensive ideation workshop to sharpen your business model, validate market fit, and prepare for real-world impact. Selected participants receive a £25,000 Catalyst Grant and tailored support to accelerate commercialisation and growth. Whether you're a first-time founder or an academic innovator, our mission is to equip you with the skills, confidence, and connections to go from concept to venture-ready. We focus on what matters most - refining your proposition, building traction, and unlocking investment potential. You’ll gain 1:1 mentoring, legal and IP guidance, investor readiness support, and access to a powerful regional innovation network. And you won’t do it alone, our cohort-based model connects you with a peer group of ambitious entrepreneurs ready to share, collaborate, and grow together. If you have a bold idea with the potential to make an impact, we’re here to help you build it. Smarter, faster, and with purpose.
