About Swedish School in London

Founded in 1907, The Swedish School in London provides a Swedish education in a unique bicultural environment. With two campuses in Barnes and Kew, we offer a nurturing space where students thrive. Our core value—building confidence through creativity—is woven into every aspect of school life. We pride ourselves on small class sizes, a dedicated team of staff, and the strong involvement of our active board of governors and parent community, many of whom choose us as a long-term educational option for their children. For the past 14 years, we have been recognised as Outstanding by Ofsted. Our students also consistently perform above the national average in Sweden, preparing them to pursue their dreams and careers internationally. Key achievements: • Year 9 grade average: 286 (national Swedish average is 234/340). • 90% of students secure their first choice at university. • 50% of the 2023 graduates went on to attend top British universities. • 100% of our students pursue further education.
