About Swift Permits

Swift Permits is a full-service building permit management firm based in San Diego, serving residential, multifamily, and commercial projects across Southern California. We act as an off-site permitting department so your team and your clients don’t have to fight with plan check, corrections, or city portals. Our job is simple: own the permitting process end to end so projects keep moving and communication stays clear. Who we work with: homeowners and owner-builders; residential general contractors and builders; multifamily and mixed-use owners and operators; commercial owners, developers, and asset managers; HOAs and portfolio managers; designers, architects, and engineers who want a reliable permitting partner. What we handle: early scope review and permitting strategy; permit-ready drafting; coordination with third-party engineers; application preparation and submissions (online and over-the-counter); routing between departments and follow-up; managing corrections, revisions, and resubmittals until approval. We support additions, remodels, ADUs, tenant improvements, new construction, site work, and amenity upgrades. Why people choose Swift Permits: deep experience with Southern California jurisdictions and evolving code cycles; proactive communication and clear status updates; end-to-end ownership instead of “passing the buck” between vendors; a repeatable process that protects schedules and relationships with homeowners, tenants, and investors. If you have a residential or commercial project where permitting feels unclear or stalled, send us a message here on LinkedIn and we’ll help you see the path to permits.
