About Swishvo

Swishvo is building the first technology infrastructure for holistic, spiritual, and ancestral care in America. There are over 9.59 million holistic, spiritual, and ancestral care providers in the United States. Doulas and midwives delivering babies. Acupuncturists and naturopathic doctors treating chronic pain. Grief counselors and chaplains holding space through grief and trauma. Registered dietitians rebuilding relationships with food. Herbalists and traditional healers carrying forward indigenous and ancestral medicine. Community health workers and home care providers showing up at the door. They span more than 57 disciplines, serve every stage of life from birth through aging, and deliver whole-person care that transforms outcomes. Two Nobel Prizes in the last decade validated ancient healing practices. The American Heart Association recognizes psychological and spiritual wellbeing as independent cardiovascular risk factors. The science is settled. Yet the vast majority lack the technology infrastructure to credential with payers, document their care in standardized frameworks, bill insurance, or measure the outcomes they produce every day. Swishvo is that infrastructure. We started where the need is most acute: mothers navigating catastrophic health events. A woman struggling with opioid use disorder needs more than medication. A woman grieving a pregnancy loss needs more than a therapy referral. A woman experiencing postpartum depression needs more than an antidepressant. These women need providers who see them as complete human beings, and those providers need sustainable practice models. Our platform serves providers across the full spectrum of whole-person care, from birth through aging, across every tradition and modality. We’re on a mission to make holistic, spiritual, and ancestral care covered by insurance.
