About Swiss Youth for Climate

Swiss Youth for Climate (SYFC) was founded in 2015 by Océane Dayer as a grassroots and nonpartisan organisation. SYFC was established to address the lack of representation for Switzerland's youth in the climate policy discussions and advocate on their behalf for the adoption of policies aligned with a 1.5C pathway. We fulfil our mission by: - Helping other youth better understand the climate crisis through our year-round initiatives and campaigns, - Organising workshops and events for aspiring advocates who want to represent the youth in climate conversations, - Advocating on behalf of youth in key climate arenas at both the national and international levels.
