Syntropic is developing HAVEN, a non-invasive brain stimulation device that restores neuroplasticity to treat depression. By delivering precise pulsed light stimulation, HAVENTM activates microglia, the brain’s immune cells, to remodel extracellular structures that block neuroplasticity. Syntropic’s technology is based on pioneering discovery by our scientific co-founders Prof. Sandra Siegert and Dr. Alessandro Venturino at ISTA, Institute of Science and Technology Austria.
