The Toronto Institute for Dental Excellence Inc. (T.I.D.E.) is a leading provider of high-quality continuing dental education, committed to advancing clinical excellence and lifelong learning for dental professionals. Founded in 2002, T.I.D.E. was built on the philosophy “Train the Brain”—delivering education that strengthens clinical judgment, enhances practical skills, and elevates standards of patient care. Our programs are designed to support dentists at all stages of their professional journey. T.I.D.E. offers AGD-approved and RCDSO-approved (Category 2) continuing education across multiple disciplines, including implant dentistry, periodontics, endodontics, therapeutic botulinum toxin (Botox) training, and comprehensive clinical care. As a multidisciplinary, multi-level education provider, we focus on translating evidence-based knowledge into real-world clinical practice. Our Educational Model Our programs are structured around three progressive waves of learning, allowing participants to select educational pathways that align with their experience level, clinical interests, and professional goals: • Wave I – Lecture-Based Education Evidence-based didactic programs focused on diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making. • Wave II – Hands-On Clinical Training Practical workshops designed to build confidence and refine clinical skills through guided hands-on learning. • Wave III – Advanced Clinical Programs with Live Patient Experience Comprehensive, multi-session programs integrating lectures, hands-on training, and live patient treatment under expert supervision. With no prerequisites required, T.I.D.E. courses are accessible, flexible, and designed to meet the diverse needs of today’s dental professionals.
