About Tariff Refund Project

Tariff Refund Project was founded in 2025 by noted federal litigator Matthew Seligman to assist businesses of all sizes claim refunds on unlawfully collected IEEPA tariffs. Importers have a limited window in which to protest their tariff payments and ensure their eligibility for a refund. Tariff Refund Law manages the entire process for our clients, from administrative protests to litigation, to help you get your refund. Taking on this highly technical process yourself means risking mistakes that could affect your refund eligibility. Selling your claim to a hedge fund means accepting $0.40 on the dollar for money that rightfully belongs to you. Working with a traditional law firm means paying thousands in legal fees today in hopes of getting a refund later. Tariff Refund Project is different. We work on a contingency model where you only pay for our services if and when you receive your refund. There is no upfront cost and no financial risk to you. And you don't have to give away your right to half or more of your claim to get expert help. Contact us today to learn more.
