About Tarup Campingcenter

Tarup Campingcenter, founded in 1984 by Jan and Lotte Johansen, is a well-established camping dealer located in Odense, Denmark. Initially focused on renting and selling caravans and trailer tents, the business has grown into a modern camping center offering a wide indoor exhibition space for caravans and camping accessories. In 2002, the company relocated to its current site on Agerhatten in Odense, where they now operate a fully equipped workshop and storage facility. Today, Tarup Campingcenter provides a broad selection of new and used caravans from leading brands such as Adria and Kabe. They also run an online store, Campingpriser.dk, where customers can purchase a variety of camping equipment at competitive prices. The company offers additional services, including moisture and gas testing as well as repairs. In 2021, the business underwent a generational shift when Christian Johansen, son of the founders, took over management. In 2019, Tarup Campingcenter acquired Campingpriser.dk, an online retailer specializing in camping equipment and accessories. This acquisition expanded Tarup Campingcenter's product offerings, allowing them to provide a wider range of camping gear through their online platform, alongside their physical showroom in Odense. The integration of www.Campingpriser.dk strengthened their position in the camping market by combining their expertise in caravans with a comprehensive selection of camping supplies available at competitive prices.
