About TeachtoLearn Australia

At TeachtoLearn, we go beyond teaching. We are a global community of educators dedicated to uplifting language education and fostering both personal and professional growth through collaboration, cultural exchange, and immersive learning experiences. Founded by Cindy Valdez, a passionate educator with over 20 years of experience in language, literacy, and EAL/D (English as an Additional Language or Dialect) education, TeachtoLearn bridges the gap between Australian and Filipino classrooms. Our programs create impactful reciprocal learning opportunities that enhance English language proficiency in students while advancing the skills and professional development of educators. We believe in the power of education to transform lives not just for students, but for teachers who are given the opportunity to immerse, connect, and grow through international teaching experiences. Our mission is to facilitate reciprocal learning between Australian and Filipino teachers, enhancing English language proficiency in Filipino students while fostering professional and personal growth in educators through shared experiences, innovative teaching strategies, and cultural immersion.
