About Tech Cartographer

Tech Cartographer is an independent cybersecurity advisory firm serving small and mid-size businesses that need CISO-level security expertise without the cost or commitment of a full-time hire. Founded by Martin J. Perkins and based in Fort Wayne, IN, we work with organizations across the Midwest and remotely to build practical, right-sized security programs — not checkbox compliance exercises. What we do: 🔹 Virtual CISO (vCISO) Advisory — Ongoing fractional security leadership: roadmap development, risk governance, vendor management, and board-level reporting. 🔹 Cybersecurity Risk Assessments — Independent evaluation of your security posture against NIST CSF and other frameworks, with a prioritized remediation roadmap. 🔹 Compliance Program Development — Structured programs for NIST CSF, SOC 2, HIPAA, CMMC, and CIS Controls, built for organizations that need to get compliant and stay compliant. 🔹 MSP Partnership Program — A white-label and referral channel for managed service providers looking to add cybersecurity advisory to their practice. Who we work with: Financial services, healthcare, legal, SaaS, and professional services firms — typically 10 to 500 employees — navigating their first serious security investment or a specific compliance requirement. Every engagement is scoped to the organization. We don't sell packages. We solve problems. 📍 Fort Wayne, IN | Serving clients nationally 🌐 techcartographer.com
