About TEDxSurat

We believe every city has more thinkers than stages. That the best ideas don't always come from the loudest rooms. And that when curious people sit together and actually listen — something shifts. Surat is a city that builds. Always has been. It built a diamond industry from nothing, rebuilt itself after adversity, and just keeps going. That same restless, ambitious, deeply community-rooted energy — that's the kind of place ideas thrive in. TEDxSurat is an independently organised TED event. We exist to give Surat's boldest ideas the audience they deserve. Once a year, we bring together entrepreneurs, scientists, educators, artists, and storytellers. Not because they share an industry — but because they share a curiosity. The stage is theirs. The ideas are for everyone. This page is where those conversations continue long after the event ends. Speaker talks, big ideas, and the kind of thinking that actually stays with you. Surat listens. Surat thinks. Ideas that change everything.
