TeraDx is developing microbiome-based diagnostic solutions to enable earlier, non-invasive cancer detection. Our first application targets head and neck cancer which is the 7th most common cancer worldwide, with over 890,000 new cases annually. Current diagnostic methods rely on invasive procedures and often result in late-stage detection, reducing survival rates and increasing treatment costs. We analyse specific microbial signatures in saliva using qPCR technology and proprietary algorithms. This provides clinicians with actionable diagnostic reports in under 24 hours, supporting faster triage and referral decisions without requiring complex infrastructure. Science-driven.
