About TESSERA Studio

TESSERA: The Art of Assembly We are Development Directors bridging the gap between Visionary Creative and Institutional Capital. At Tessera, we do not merely build projects; we assemble places. We operate at the intersection of high-barrier-to-entry development and luxury hospitality, fusing the Poetry of creative vision (story, soul, and experience) with the Grammar of financial discipline (data, structure, and execution). Our Philosophy: A "tessera" is a single fragment of stone, but placed with intention, it becomes a mosaic—a place with a pulse. We find the pattern in the complexity, orchestrating the disparate tiles of development to create assets that are commercially robust, operationally seamless, and culturally significant. The Partnership: We offer the soul of a boutique studio with the rigor of a global firm. • Adamo Gumowski (The Poetry): Classically trained architect and former Global Hospitality Leader (Gensler, Google), ensuring the "undeniable sense of welcome" defines the asset. • Simon Muir (The Grammar): Seasoned executive rooted in "Quantity Surveying" and development economics, with over $6.5B in project execution experience. Core Services for Capital Partners: We act as the single point of accountability to ensure the story survives the build: • Comprehensive Project Direction: End-to-end orchestration from site selection and team curation to operational handover. • Vision Guardianship: Defining the "Why" through brand strategy, placemaking, and experience choreography. • Financial Stewardship: Grounding ambitious ideas in rigorous underwriting, cost controls, and risk mitigation to maximize long-term value.
