About Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church

Our Mission is to equip congregations to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world to the glory of God with a focus on cultivating growing congregations, investing in the young, and transforming our leaders. The Texas Annual Conference is one of the eleven annual (regional) conferences in the South Central Jurisdiction (http://www.scjumc.org) of the United Methodist Church. We have hundreds of churches organized into 9 districts (https://www.txcumc.org/districts) across East Texas. Chances are you grew up in the United Methodist Church or know many United Methodists. We have many vibrant, welcoming congregations and ministries that reach out to others to make a difference. Want to know more? Stop by one of our churches (https://www.txcumc.org/church-directory) in your area this week. You’ll be glad you did!
