About Thales Consulting Inc.

At Thales Consulting Inc., we focus on providing local governments with software products and services tailored to financial reporting. Our primary software offering is The Reporting Solution (TRS). TRS is a web-based publishing tool to streamline the preparation of a local government's annual financial report or ACFR. We authored and supported the acopeb.com web application that streamlines the GASB 45 calculations for retiree health plans under 100 participants. WHO IS THALES? THALES OF MILETUS ~624-546 B.C. Among a host of other achievements in astronomy, mathematics, and business, Thales of Miletus is thought to be the founder of natural philosophy and the developer of the scientific method. It could be argued that his achievements are unparalleled since it appears he single-handedly initiated the first western enlightenment.
