Today, Thar operates multiple units for natural product toll processing in USA and designs, fabricates + implements automated supercritical fluid extraction / purification systems. Also known as SCFE or SFE, CO2 is a less expensive and more sustainable extraction solvent replacing hexane, ethanol and steam. With a technology footprint that includes CO2 with co-solvents and subcritical H2O continuous batch extraction, counter-current extraction / remediation to chromatographic purification and isolations (SFC), Thar is unmatched in expertise in executing green chemistry techniques from food to pharma.
